MTV was really the only outlet we ever had, although I am not really Canadian I figured that breaking out a band that far away from the United States might give me an edge. How do you think that Canadians feel about it? Well, I don't really know. You can see me walking around in the video with a headband on. I don't think that I ever really considered the fact that there are real Canadians out there. I lived on film for the entire time and I did alot of MC work as another Canadian talk host. Alan Thick. Nobody ever questioned me because I lived in the studio on film. I saw my stand in the other day as Alan Thick I can't even spell it anymore that's how long ago it happened. I think that between the two gigs I really felt like I was portraying a Canadian. When the cover for Lover Boy was finally ready to be shot we had only played before MTV audiences. Are you going to give up on Canada. Yeah my next album is about the flight of the Tiger Butterfly. |
