How much power would it take to run this great nation of our's? It would be an awesome feat to describe it in a sentence. Who would check and balance that much power? Slow the process down so that a vote could be made, so that others who have voted could experience democracy. The first place it could start would be at your local government.
The Police and Fire Dept. is an excellant begining.The future would include many other things including Teachers;Medical Personnel, and the Armed Forces.

That process could go on until it reached the entire Untied States.
Imagine an issue so important that everyone in these Depts. got to vote on it!

Well, it might happen. Right now we have given them control over our lives by entrusting them with the power to regulate our housing, our thouroghfares, our safety, and finally our well being. To serve and protect us in this great nation of ours. How effective could voting really be if we did things in this way? Eventually we will vote on World issues.Utilizing the voting system and forcing leaders or wanna be leaders to listen to World issues.

The political brain washing that they may respond to would force them to do the right thing based on the vote. All votes would be considered American citizen votes on those issues that involve people who have to interact with American citizens on their own soil. Their homeland.

The campaign promises would never end once you reached your desired destination.

However, no matter who you were; it would force you to serve the nation,and the World- the way the job was designed to do. It would be much more effective than a dictatorship-which is what we have right now, maybe!

The power is in an informed and educated nation as well as an informed and educated world. People interested in their country,- in the Environment. People interested in the quality of life. A nation that wants life and happiness not just for now but for the next hundred years,-...... And beyond.We need leadership that allows us a future. Not leadership that repeats the past because this is the way it was in Nam and this is the way it was in WW1.
That kind of hypnosis is detrimental to the health and well being of a sane culture.

That kind of idealogy is the foundation of destruction. War proves one thing and only one thing. It's very similar to surgery, in that it is a last resort- a failure.

That watched people die on the feilds of battle.

They are Americans as well, however their confusion can not end the world! Their war time solutions for peace will not make sense to our present society.
We cannot repeat history over and over again because it's the blueprint for distruction!  The absolute way to fail. If you follow history step by step and make the same mistakes than you repeating things until they fail!
