Ramora

It was warm, very warm. The waters around Amulet had warmed significantly. There was also the precense of oxygen. Amulet took small sips of air through his tightly clenched lips. Small bursts of oxygen entered his lungs. Images passed in front of his visage. Whole patterns of lights in various shapes danced past him. A new place had opened up to him. Here nestled in a small cul de sac of coral he continued to "float". For the moment the outside world had disappeared. What ever he was before he had become something new now. The creatures of the deep seemed curious to know him, for he was the center of attention. Thousands of fish in huge schools stopped in front of him darkening the crystal clear water and turning it a darkened hue to match their dark scaley bodies.
Amulet made shapes with both of his hands until he had formed a circle with them. Instinctively one by one the dark scaley fish took turns swiming through his hands being ever so cautious as to not touch either side of his hands, nor any other part of his body. Then they realigned in a tight head to fin formation filling the ocean . Amulet marveled at their intensity. They had a deliberate presence to him now. They were more now than a happen stance migration of fish that somehow for some reason stopped by to play games with him. They now seemed to be here for a specific reason.
Amulet's attention was taken away from the massive school of blackfish as the startling contrast of a white underbelly glided past him. Startled he churned the water with his hands sending the black fish away in  blurring instant. All of his skin adhered to his bones in a dramatic way. Dehydration had puckered his  fingertips and his body seemed to shrink further inward. His near weightless condition made him seem more fragile than the visting schools of fish.

"Will you clean the ocean?"
